For those that have not been to a swap before here is how the trades/purchases work.

Approximately 2 months prior to the swap Cyberwolf will enable the fragswapper website to allow postings. Typically people take pictures of their corals or equipment and post them on the website with a cost, trade value or item that you want to trade for.

People will then have the ability to reserve the coral from the fragswapper website. It will send you an email with the item that was reserved and who it was reserved for with their email address. You can then communicate freely with that person via email. Discuss time to meet up, perhaps trade cell phone numbers, answer questions about the coral or equipment.

When you arrive at the swap you will write your fragswapper ID on a name tag that will be provided for you. The buyer will seek you out to pickup the coral/equipment.

If you are not planning on listing your items on fragswapper, would prefer to just bring to the swap and set out on a table for passer byers then it is recommended to take pictures of things that will not be open such as Zoanthids. Some folks organize the pictures on a piece of cardboard for display and keep the corals in containers in a cooler.

There will be tables for adhoc trades but it is first come first serve. If you want to be sure you will get a spot to display your stock you may want to consider the early bird special (25$) which includes one free admission.

Hope this helps some folks know what to expect leading up to the swap. For those more experienced swappers please post up any other information may be helpful to others.
