Our Garden Pond

I started out with a 90g pond kit bought from Wal Mart a couple of years ago. That purchase got the pond bug going in me and I've been wanting to "upgrade" for the last year or so.

Last fall a member of my local reef club was giving away several preformed pond liners and I snagged them up. One of them was approximately 175g and I chose to use it as my main pool. A second liner was about 50g and had a water fall lip on it. I used it as a second higher pool and it flows into the lower pool.

The lilies were growing in our old pond so I moved them over to the new one.

I am planning on using the upper pool as a bog type filter. I picked up some water iris and pickerel rush today. I still want to add some cattail to the pond.
